CHNOPS is the beginning of a human. We need this to survive. We wouldn’t have the ability to do things now if it weren’t for CHNOPS.
Relationships.
CHNOPS is a major part of our body. Withought it, we won’t be able to function properly. Our body requires CHNOPS in order to survive. CHNOPS is found in every single human on earth.
What is a calorie?
The energy needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water through 1 °C
How do non-organic things help me?
The liquid portion of blood called plasma is 90% water. The fluid properties of water enable blood to flow through your body. Water has a unique property that makes it essensial to life. Withought salt, our nerves and muscles won’t function properly. Vitamins and minerals are found in the foods we eat. They help your body function properly and grow. For example, vitamin D which is found in...
What exactly do proteins do for me?
Proteins are found in every single living cell. They are used to repair cells. Proteins are used to maintain and replace tissues in your body. Antibodies are produced by proteins so our bodies can fight diseases and illnesses. Proteins also stop bleeding by producing blood clots. A protein enzyme is like a tool, it makes sure that chemical reactions in your body take place.
What do carbohydrates do for you.
Carbohydrates make energy for your body. They also protect your muscles. When you need energy, your body looks glucose from carbohydrates first. Carbohydrates also regulate the amount of sugar in your blood so that all the cells get the energy they need. They also help provide nutrients for friendly bacteria that help you digest food.
How does CHNOPS become a part of me?
You need oxygen to help the lungs send air to the heart to pump your blood. Hydrogen is necessary for combination of oxygen for water which makes uo most of your body weight. Phosphorus in needed in plants to produce glucose which we humans eat to make energy. Sulfur is in the amino acid which breaks down fat.
Lipids.
We have many lipids in our bodies such as fats, oils, waxes, and steroids. Our bodies use fat as a supply and store of energy. Lipids are fat based cells so the more you have, the more fat tissues your body has. It also stores carbs which is great for energy.
Why do i need CHNOPS?
Carbon is used to make cytoskeleton enzymes, hormones, and regulation of the body.
Hydrogen is part of almost every molecule in your body. It also helps you digest your food.
Nitrogen is found in organic molecules. The amino acid is an example of one. You need it to make DNA and proteins.
Oxygen makes up 65% of water. Water makes up 60% of our body weight. We need oxygen also to breathe.
